National Youth Leadership Month

February is National Youth Leadership Month. This celebration focuses on uplifting and empowering young people’s voices as leaders not just for today, but for tomorrow.

When young people are empowered to lead, they become more engaged members of society, from civic involvement to becoming leaders in the workforce. Taking pride and ownership of their impact also helps them establish a strong sense of identity.

This month, take time to ensure your students are aware of all the leadership opportunities available to them. These opportunities will help them build life and leadership skills and give them invaluable experience that will make them more competitive job candidates.
