Students at Ramey Job Corps in Puerto Rico celebrate Pride Month.

Job Corps issued a new Program Instruction Notice (PIN) 23-11 recently called “Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity.” This PIN affirms Job Corps’ commitment to recognizing and respecting the gender identity of all our students and applicants. It also provides guidance on how you can do that. Remember, federal civil rights laws impose nondiscrimination and equal opportunity requirements with regard to sex, including gender identity, in every aspect of the Job Corps program.
